Dive into the world of literature with our 14-week Novel Studies course!
Novel Studies fosters critical thinking and a love for reading. We want to encourage students to draw connections between literature and their own lives.
Reading Skills and Literary Analysis
Students will explore three captivating novels, each offering unique insights and perspectives. Students will be guided in reading the selected novels at home, and then come to class ready to engage deeply with diverse themes, characters, and narratives. We will engage in lively discussions and literary analyses.
Each Novel Studies course uses different books and materials appropriate for each grade or reading level.
Class duration is one hour per week.
This course is offered as a 14-class semester.
