Students will be placed into small book club groups based on reading level and interest. Possible groups may include levels such as grades 2, 3–4, 5–6, and 7–8, depending on student interest and enrollment.

Each group will receive a list of possible novels appropriate for that level. Students will then rank the books they are most interested in reading and indicate any books they have already read or strongly prefer not to read. I will review the rankings and choose two novels that work best for the group as a whole.

This process helps ensure that each book club group reads novels that are appropriately challenging, engaging, and enjoyable for the students in that class.
